Do you charge for travel? +
Within 25 miles of Knaresborough — no. Travel is fully included in the published service prices, no separate call-out fee. Beyond 25 miles, the additional distance is charged at 60p per mile, quoted up-front before any work is booked.
What if I’m outside the standard area? +
Phone or enquire. We’ve taken jobs 40+ miles out for portfolio landlords, holiday let owners and customers with unusual requirements. We’ll quote travel up-front so there are no surprises on the invoice. Some jobs justify the travel; some don’t — we’ll be honest about which is which.
Do you do emergency callouts everywhere on this list? +
Yes — emergency response is the same 25-mile zone as our standard work. The further out you are, the longer the on-site arrival time, but the phone triage is identical regardless. The 25-mile coverage stays the same; only the door-to-door time changes.
What about holiday lets and second homes? +
Same scope, same pricing as primary residences. Holiday let owners often book the annual service to coincide with a changeover period when the property is empty. We coordinate access directly with the property manager or cleaning team if you’d prefer.
Multiple properties in the same village? +
Booked back-to-back at multi-stop rates. First property at standard price, additional properties in the same area at the reduced rate. Tell us when you enquire — we’ll plan the route to minimise travel time across the run.
